A veteran in the Global War on Terror, Gavin worked his way up from Private First Class to Captain in the Florida Army National Guard. He served as the senior intelligence officer in an East African combat zone for Task Force Hurricane, supporting counterterrorism operations and defending US embassies.
Gavin is an American History teacher with a master’s degree in education. He’s taught history and civics at Keystone Heights High School, Oakleaf High School, and Saint Johns Classical Academy.
